El Rubor:
Las mejillas sonrosadas son un símbolo de salud y belleza. Es difícil mantener el sonrosado todo el tiempo por lo que alguien muy inteligente se invento el rubor, blush o colorete. La función del rubor es poner color y ayudar a definir la estructura facial añadiendo belleza.

El tipo de rubor que elijas depende de tu tipo de maquillaje. Estos son algunos tips útiles para aplicarlo y que se vea natural y armonioso realzando tu belleza:

1- El rubor generalmente se aplica después del maquillaje de ojos y antes de los labios, pero también puede aplicarse al final. Esto se hace para poder balancear el rostro.

2- El peor error a la hora de aplicar el rubor es poner mas de la cuenta o usar un color muy fuerte.

3- El color ideal es el color natural de tu MEJILLAS sonrosadas! para esto YO recomiendo presionar un poquito el pómulo y el color que te quede, debe ser similar al color de tu rubor. El rubor tiene que complementar tu piel no tu lápiz labial.

4- Diferentes tonos de rubor o blush pueden usarse para esculpir el rostro y atraer la atención a puntos determinados. Para hacer esto y que se vea natural se necesita ser muy hábil, en maquillaje moderno esto generalmente no se usa para maquillaje diario o de fiestas.

5- El rubor tiene varias presentaciones los hay en crema, polvo, polvos minerales, gel y líquidos. El más usado, sin duda, es en polvo ya que da un toque de naturalidad. En las chicas jóvenes los líquidos que vienen con aplicador (llamados stain en inglés) lucen más naturales y juveniles. 7- El tamaño del pincel para aplicar el rubor debe de ser proporcional al tamaño del rostro. Si tu rostro es pequeño no uses un pincel grande. Los pinceles de las cajas de rubor son muy chicos.

8- El rubor o blush liquido, crema y en gel se aplican con los dedos o con una esponja, y se procede al esfumado que es todo un arte el de esfumar..

9- Antes de comenzar a aplicarlo, una vez que has cargado el pincel con rubor sacúdelo al aire para eliminar el exceso.

10- Para aplicar el rubor sonríe y en el punto más sobresaliente del pómulo aplica con movimientos rotativos deja de sonreír y extiende el cepillo en dirección a las sienes u orejas (sin llegar a ellas) esto se hace con un pincel pero puede repetirse si no te aplicaste suficiente.

11- Si tu rostro es ancho o rellenito, aplícate el rubor en la punta de los pómulos, trata de mantenerlo dentro del cuadro del ojo, si lo extiendes más de esto el rostro podría verse más ancho.
